The new Chinese IP database ( http://epub.sipo.gov.cn /) is launched, though its available only in Chinese. Its look similar in terms of old system.

Chilean Expired Patents and Registered Designs Database

All Chilean expired patents and registered designs from 1840 onwards are now freely available at http://www.inapi.cl/dominiopublico . This can be a good source of find prior arts.

ASEAN TMview - International Trademark Database

ASEAN TMview is an international trademark database and is common online trademark information platform of the ASEAN Member States, making ASEAN trademark data widely available and easily accessible to all interested stakeholders. ASEAN TMview offers free of charge online access to information on trademark registrations and trademark applications having effects in the participating ASEAN countries.    ASEAN TMview has been developed by the Intellectual Property Offices of the ASEAN Member States with the support of the EU-ASEAN Project on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (ECAP III Phase II) administered by the EU Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM)

German Patent Office has started new service " DPMAkurier ", an individual supply service sending out automated messages via e-mail. This service is provided free of charge and available upon first-time registration and submission of a valid e-mail address. The German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) has established this service for individual inventors and small and medium enterprises, in particular, to help them get started with regular IPR watches and easy monitoring of selected IPtitles.
