All pharmaceutical companies have to operate in accordance with FDA regulations. Recently the FDA has issued guidelines that determine quality control standards for the pharmaceutical production process. For these companies this implies that they will have to measure every important parameter within their production process in order to control and optimize it.

Oracle technology in combination with KMX provided a valuable insight in the production process. By applying data mining, generating all possible models from the data and analyzing all relationships between the models. Further optimization of the thus generated models provided not only better quality control of the production process, as required by the FDA, but also greatly improved production planning and saved production costs.
