New percent option to refine DGENE, USGENE and PCTGEN sequence search

Enhanced capabilities for refining BLAST and FASTA (GETSIM) sequence search answer sets by percent (%) have been implemented in DGENE, USGENE and PCTGEN on STN.

A new option of specifying a minimum percentage value is now available as a user-defined cut-off point in gathering a BLAST or GETSIM sequence search results set on STN. The improved command line user interaction provides greater flexibility in handling answer sets, and is available for all BLAST and GETSIM search options, including BATCH and ALERT searches, in all three patent sequence databases.

For more details on this highly requested enhancement, please see HELP CHANGE in DGENE, USGENE or PCTGEN on STN.

In addition, a fully revised USGENE Workshop Manual is now available incorporating the new search interaction.
