The ground-breaking opportunity to test the MIMOSA search engine is in line with the EPO's new "barrier-free" patent information policy. The policy was put in place in 2007 and aims at providing more complete public access to the information contained in patent documents, as well as ensuring that people are able to use that information effectively. Better access to patent data is essential for the growth of industry in Europe, especially for scientists, engineers, universities and research centres. So take advantage of this barrier-free offer today!

With MIMOSA retrieval software, users have access to all the benefits of a powerful search tool and can customise display, printing and downloading according to their own needs.
